

Candlewood Shores offers it's homeowners beach, boating, and playground facilities located on the beautiful shores of Candlewood Lake. Many families believe that the Candlewood Shores beach is one of the prettiest and well maintained beaches on Candlewood Lake. The beach is open year round and lifeguard duty is provided from Memorial Day through Labor Day. All life guards are certified. (See below for lifeguard coverage schedule.)
Candelwood Shores has boat moorings available for a limited number of residents who own boats. Call the office for the Harbor Master's information. .A boat ramp is available for use by all residents. A key must be purchased from the Candlewood Shores office in order to use the ramp. Parking is available for cars and trailers at the ball field parking area. Parking is not permitted at the ramp site.
Playground equipment has been installed for use by residents' children and their guests. Please make sure children are supervised at all times.
Candlewood Shores offers a variety of planned activities at the beach area for all residents. Some of these include concerts and the annual picnic.

Candlewood Shores Beach is a private beach serving the residents of Candlewood Shores.
- Open Daily from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm
- Life Guard on Duty fromm 11:00 am to 6:00 pm (Until Labor Day weekend) Seasonal Starting Dates Vary.
- No Trespassing (Per CT. statutes sec 53A - 110A)
- No Consuming Alcoholic Beverages
- No Ball or Frisbee Playing
- No Picnicking
- No Dogs Allowed
- No Bike Riding or Vehicles permitted on the Beach Area
- 1 Beach Pass pin required per member or group
