Steve Gies as the general manager takes on all the day to day maintenance with the crew, meets with the Board of Directors and oversees projects whether they are in-house or sub-contracted. Since coming on board at CSTD in July 2005, Steve has completed both courses for system distribution and water treatment, has taken the exams and passed. Along with his other duties as general manager he maintains the water system.

In July 2008 the District said a fond farewell to Donald Springmeyer after 20+ years of dedication and service. Among the many improvements Don supervised during his years were; the widening and paving of 7 plus miles of roads, beach improvements, creating a more usable ball field, updated and automated the water system from the meters in the homes to the components in the pump house and pressure station, as well as keeping the roads clear of snow and ice along with recycling leaves.
